I usually snap up all the chanterelles that grow in my back yard in the fall, and that's my haul for the year - unless I'm in an area I know it's worth looking, growing my own seemed like a good idea. The harder (better tasting of course) varieties take a little getting the hang of, but out of the box followed instructions with this kit to the letter and had no issues. My problems at the moment, if any, are now just air exchange/humidity/light ratios. Once I get those down, I look forward to being able to replicate this process whenever I want!
