Overall, I really like this hood. The price is decent, the build quality is great, and setup was super easy. One thing that bothered me was it did not come with the Bonsai logo, it is just a plain white box. The manager was super nice and explained that the manufacturer no longer paints the logos on because some many people wanted to put their own logo. He reached out to the manufacturer and they are sending me some Bonsai stickers to put on it. One other thing that I did not like is they did not install a switch on the outside of the hood. You either have to have to turn it on and off on the power strip, or lift up the pre-filter. Not a huge deal. It would not have been much cheaper to build my own flow hood and this one is very nice and the perfect size for my needs. I originally bought a FFU from Amazon but returned it immediately and bought this one, so glad I did. Highly recommended.

I was hesitant to spend the money on the larger flowhood, but glad I did! I also downloaded plans to build my own but after checking prices of quality lumber and blower the cost added up! I basically am paying $300 to have this whole unit built. I could spend hours trying to figure out the specs and size of the inner box to make sure the flow is correct. Mine as well leave that to the experts. Super happy with my purchase and great customer support! Zero contamination now with all my projects!

I tried pricing this out to build my own and just not worth the time! Quality cabinet grade wood is getting expensive to build these yourself, ($220) The filter and blower ($489.00) Tack on another $15-$30 in silicone, glue, specialty screws and I'm at let's say $720.00. I was happy to pay $300 for a professionally built unit with a warranty and great customer service. Alot of the wood was cut on a CNC machine which makes the front faceplate very easy to remove and replace filters down the road. This is something I would not be able to do myself. Unit works great and arrived in 2 boxes. Literally 4 screws and I was up and running! 5 stars for sure!!

The quality is top notch, both the wood cuttings and the electrical.

Reading the directions was a bit overwhelming for me, but the YouTube video turned the set-up into a breeze.

Machine runs quietly and looks good.
