The Shiitake block arrived quickly and in good shape. The instructions were easy to follow. I've harvested about a half pound of mushrooms so far with more coming in my first flush. I'm a very happy customer and looking forward to ordering more blocks.

This is an easy way to get started. My block arrived fairly cured. I put the block in a fruiting chamber and it began pinning in under 24 hours. Cool!

My first order and attempt at growing mushrooms.......the order of shiitake grow block arrived quickly and in good shape. Read the instructions and all is well. Mushrooms are in their first flush and I'm eating mushrooms grown in my upstairs bathroom...I've harvested about a half a pound in the first three days with several more approaching a good size. Its all new to me so I'm excited about the prospect of more experiments in the future. I was able to dry some of the mushrooms in my airfryer. So happy customer at this point.

We eat a lot of mushrooms and shiitakes can be on the expensive end. This was my first time growing mushrooms and I can't wait to try a different kit. If you want a constant flow of mushrooms, then you should have a least two blocks in rotation, so that while one block is resting, the other is fruiting. Also, the mushrooms are so delicious and plentiful. I had 12 ounces of mushrooms the first and second fruiting. Get this block!

Amazing Kit, came with brown pacthes already there, so It was half cured! It took about 3 more weeks to see pins, but now I have probably 30 mushrooms growing! Will be back!
