These co2 bags are awesome
Activated my bag in a few minutes and it started colonizing inside within a few days. The bag slowly expanded and puffed out after about a week to 10 days. It appears to be moving along pretty well. I currently have it in my sun room where I have 10 different plants. I bought this mainly for myself and a fun project to try and I am very excited about the mushrooms that they say will grow down the road. Hopefully my plants enjoy a little extra Co2 in the meantime! Will update new review if I see any difference in my plants in a few weeks.
Works, Co2 meter reads 300 points higher with 1 bag, adding a 2nd gave me 650 ppm increase in my 5x5. Similar to other Co2 bags ive bought in the past. Really cool that they actually produce mushrooms, I dont think they will, but hey prove me wrong!
Been buying Exhale bags for years for my Green medical grow room. I happened to stumble upon these while buying mushroom supplies for my latest hobby and decided to pick one up. I can say these work exactly the same as Exhale but I am super stoked for harvesting some shrooms later as well. I would not buy these for the sole purpose of growing mushrooms bc they take forever but if you have plants too, this is a great and easy "Set it and forget it" product. I would recommend buying 2. I always noticed the best results from using 2.
I LOVE this CO2 bag. I bought mine back in August 2024 and has been through 2 grow cycles. I live in a legal grow state up north to help paint the picture. I have a friend who grows manure loving mushrooms and taught me what to expect. The time frame given by Myco Labs is accurate and I don't have any moldy spots and the whole bag is a nice solid rock. No shrooms yet! In the grow tent setup I did my research and started this bag about 3 weeks into my first grow so in a way, I trained the mycelium to work with the environment it will live in. The humidity in the bag does get a little higher than in the tent as you will see wet spots here and there ESPECIALLY running 65%+ humidity during your veg cycle. I have my bag suspended to the side of the light. The light will hit the bag and what will happen is a slowed growth in that area where the light is but no need to worry! Keep the environment right and you will be fine! Most of the growth in my case started behind the bag as it was mostly dark/shaded but i would see little zones in the front. Lastly during your drying phase, the bag will do great which is the whole purpose of training it from the beginning to teach it how to handle low humidity when needed. Once i finished drying i put my humidity back up 63-65% and began my next grow and this one is HUGEEEEE. Morale of the story - As long as you train this early it can handle a growing environment. For me I'd like to clone in the future if at all possible but very happy with this and the price point is great!
